About

Ospitalita’ Italiana is a quality seal launched to promote authentic Italian Restaurants and gelaterie abroad.

It was launched in Italy in 1997 to promote the quality of Italian Touristic enterprises and to guarantee consumers of the quality of the services delivered. It engages about 5.000 among hotels, restaurants, gelaterie, and holiday farms located in 18 Italian regions.

Following up the success obtained in Italy, in 2009 the initiative has been extended to enterprises abroad.

All the restaurants and gelaterie approved by the Italian Certification Commission will receive the Ospitalita’ Italiana Promotional Pack. The package includes a certificate and the official plate.

Also, certified restaurants and gelaterie can benefit from the many promotional actions linked to the initiative, including presence on several media both in Canada and abroad, such as: TV shows, websites, social networks, Newsletter, internet portals, guides and magazines.
